  25. American Megatrends Inc. motherboards are VERY expensive BUT ARE NOT
  26. the only motherboards that can accomodate a full size PCI card.

  28. I just purchased a SuperMicro P55 CMS motherboard for $374 (shipping
  29. included). It's a nice board with 4 PCI and 4 ISA (NO shared slots!) slots,
  30. Intel Socket 7 with VRM (voltage regulator module) that can accommodate
  31. upto 180Mhz Pentiums and the P55C Pentiums that will be by midyear 96'.
  32. It has 2 PCI slots that can accommodate full size cards and 2 ISA
  33. slots that very well look like they can accommodate full size cards
  34. as well. The board comes with 256K Pipelined Burst Synchronous SRAM
  35. and uses the Triton chip set. There's one thing though, I made sure
  36. that I ordered the 8.5"x13" board (Full AT size) for the extra room.
  37. Don't know about the Baby-AT size boards though. If you're building
  38. a Pentium mid-size to full-size tower, this board would make a good
  39. choice.
